New Scenario Entertainment is pleased to announce that PIECES (OF ASS), a series of original monologues from a rotating cast of beautiful women, will continue at the China Club through October 18^th. The show was originally scheduled to end its New York engagement on October 4^th. (Note: The previously announced Los Angeles production will begin as scheduled on Wednesday, October 29^th.)

“Sopranos” star Jamie-Lynn Sigler will appear in the show on Saturday, October 4^th as the CenterPIECE.

PIECES… received raves from a number of critics when it played off-Broadway this summer. The New York Times wrote that PIECES… was “Delightfully funny”, and was “directed with a sureness of style by Brian Howie”. The New Yorker said that PIECES… was “A uniquely gratifying experience”, and Entertainment Weekly wrote that the show was “Really, really hot…honest and hilarious.”

PIECES (OF ASS) features original monologues which all deal with themes uniquely common to the physically blessed female, from the perks and the privileges to the problems and the pressures. These pieces aim to go beneath the beautiful façade and examine the concept of "hot chick angst." More than just a stage show, PIECES…is a complete evening, with live female DJ’s and short films, with drinks served during the performance. Moving the show to the China Club in Times Square will add to the party atmosphere.

PIECES… is unique among off-Broadway shows in that the format allows the producers to mix in special guest stars on select performances- a “CenterPIECE”. “For a night or two, it is the perfect environment for an actress to jump into the rotation and share her unique experiences, to show a different side of herself, to engage an audience for a few minutes on a personal level in a fun environment”, says the show’s director and creator, Brian Howie. Past CenterPIECE Jenna Morasca (the recent “Survivor” winner and Playboy cover girl) was such a hit with audiences that she is joining the cast for this entire limited engagement.

New Scenario Entertainment is a New York-based production company which pursues opportunities in all facets of the entertainment industry including film, television, stage, and national events. The company’s feature film, “Mob Mentality”, is scheduled for completion later this year.

PIECES (OF ASS) began performances at the China Club on Monday, September 8^th, and will now continue through Saturday, October 18^th. Performances are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8pm.
